Terms & Conditions

1. Payment – Payment can be made by cheque, electronic transfer or cash. Bank details can be provided on request for electronic transfer. Most sessions are settled on a “pay as you go” basis but for those who require an invoice, the following applies:

You will receive an invoice for the therapy sessions you have booked at the beginning of each block of therapy or training.

Cheques should be made payable to Nicki Worth.

Payment is required within 7 days. Overdue accounts will be charged an additional 10% late payment fee.

If there is a delay in payment, further therapy will not be undertaken until the invoice has been settled.

If you are claiming from private health insurance it is your responsibility to settle the account and then reclaim from the insurance company.

2. Cancellation - If the client cancels an appointment by 9 o’clock on the day of the appointment no fee will be charged. If an appointment is cancelled with less notice, half fee will be charged. If the therapist is unable to attend an appointment, the maximum possible notice will be given and the appointment will be rescheduled.

3. Travel - Travel for home and school visits is charged at 50p per mile from the therapist’s base (CO7 0UA) to the postcode of the place of visit, according to the AA route planner. A supplement may be charged for distances over 30 miles. There is no charge for the first 10 miles.

4. Clients that are currently receiving therapy from an NHS therapist or are on an NHS the waiting list must inform the Independent therapist. The NHS therapist should also be informed of any Independent therapist involvement to ensure effective treatment.

5. Personal data held by Therapy Solutions will be stored in a locked facility. Client confidentiality will be observed. Therapy Solutions works within safeguarding guidelines set by the Essex Safeguarding Children’s Boards

6. Reports produced by the Independent therapist will be circulated to relevant other professionals i.e. GP with signed parent consent.

7. Prices - Fees are subject to annual review.
